Retail therapy.I like to spend money...period...cheap crap expensive goods...it doesn't matter...I just like to acquire and play with new stuff...
If I can't find what I need under $900 to play at home & practice I shouldn't be playing.....plenty of Marshall's/Vox/Laney/Fenders in that range.
No sweat bro, I've got you covered.CRAP-- and I just switched to bass.....damn the luck!

Although I answered in the $901-$1500 range, I agree with you. The only time I actually spent $ in that range was when I bought my Dual Rec. Sometimes an amp or a guitar comes along that just seems to be "worth it" at the time. My Laney AOR50 was one of those too. When I tried it out, I knew that I had to have it, and I still do(I did buy it new... in 1989-90 I think). It wasn't as expensive as the Mesa, but at the time it was expensive to me...and absolutely worth every penny.
A bunch of cheap asses on this thread. I can't believe no one else would spend at least $1500 of money they don't even have on a nice tube amp.

I voted in the $1500.00 valve amp category.
I'm cheap, too, but in a different way. Instead of getting cheap things, I wait and save a long time to get something.
But, I don't spend more than necessary and will look for deals.
