I learned the opening riff, but never went past that. Maybe I will.
The “A”chord as Kossoff played it live he basically rides the A on the fifth position of E making it 3 “A’s” the high A is a panned dub in the studio allegedly.
The strum of that weird C shape is very awkward to me.
You play it well C-Grin! It’s always pleasure, thanks.

That makes it way easier to here than trying to pick it out of the mix.

Somewhere I read a chord chart (Tabs) or watched a tutorial how to play this. As opposed to a lot of that garbage that shows up online, it feel it was pretty accurate. I still can't play it.... but that;s on me. Not the tutorial.

Years ago while noodling around, I did stumble on the Cowboy chords for the intro. I had the general idea but could always tell I didn't really have it right.

Chris Buck has a great lesson for this one on his YouTube channel.

Well it was probably time to learn it right i suppose, might as well play it on a LP too. :celebrate:

Y’all shamed me into it. Had to go grab my G400 while watching the Cubs. Found my “cheat” notes from how ever long ago I wrote them down on a piece of scrap paper. Now. Just get my fingers to work right. They’re pretty close….. more or less. ;)

The 3rd chord D add11 is hard to make that sound good. It’s shaped like a C chord on the 5th fret. Great work everyone.

I don’t know why I got this song in my head but I want to do a recording before and after using the same amp model and my Ebony LP Studio before I change it the pickups.
I’ve been working on it. Still a bit rough.

About that. I’ve had an “All Right Now” ear worm going since I read the first post. Thank you very much.

So like I said. Had to go get a guitar and mess around. However. As stated in a different post…. I kinda took a couple months off from the guitar. One of those we weren’t home. The other month was lack of motivation. So my fingers really need to get back in shape.

Edit: For me it’s the A5. I don’t seem to be blessed with a little finger that works like it needs to, so barring the B and E string at the 5th fret is a bit of a stretch. Still working on that one.

Yeah that shape is a stretch and a bit brutal as you need to lift the other fingers at different times while keeping that pinky anchored. Probably why I learned it the other way to begin with.:celebrate2:. Also I kind of sonically like the other A chord with the the A on the high E the second pass. But here nor there it is of course one of the best rock songs of all time.
