Haven’t forgotten. Twas working on something else. Acoustic Guitar in Drop D and I thought…. What about “All Right Now” on acoustic in Drop D. Playing a hybrid style. Kinda a mish mash of what’s already been done here…. And it actually works. That is. If you’re into acoustic. :victoire:

For the record. I tried the pinky finger on the A on the low E string like @C-Grin did. Nope. Can’t make my hand do that maneuver.
It’s difficult to pull off for me. I can’t do it correctly.

Same kind of thing with Rush 2112.
It’s the simplest progression ever but G to C , E to A fast and clean in the Major chord position is challenging. Not complicated, it’s timing and keeping the clean chords.

All right now takes more coordination . Pinky , index alternating. Schenker uses a similar technique on Dr Dr.

Yeah. Even with my lack of talent…. The chord progression in All Right Now is not difficult. But do it correctly and at speed?? Be why those guys got/get the big bucks and got/get to play in front of thousands (or tens of thousands).

Oh great!! "All Right Now" just came on the radio. And no. Couldn't just sit here and be entertained.... I'm ghost fretting a guitar in my head while it plays. It's an illness I tell you. An illness with no cure.:strat:
Sorry iblive, I didn’t mean to curse you.
I can’t play it correctly either.
I am just play 2 notes per chord because my fingers will not make that stretch fast enough.

I’m doing it different than you guys did. Doing it on my acoustic, so what I’ve come up with thus far is a hybrid arrangement. I will share if I ever get it down.
