I was at Guitar Denter, overheard them trying to lowball some dude on his handwired JTM 45, because he had the typical bluesbreaker mods done..... disconnect tremolo, KT 66's etc...

They offered him $300 lol. Because of mods, and cab damage. I overheard him say he needed a minimum of $600 to make rent.

Caught up with him in the parking lot, offered $850 - done deal.

Sourmash made the head cab and it's been rockin for a while.

Bought my Eric Johnson Stratocaster the same way. Thanks Guitar Center.

Almost exact same scenario, got my blond Eric Johnson Strat.

They were lowballing because the kid had beat it up some.

Still played- sounded great, no fret issues. All cosmetic.

That guitar, like my Les Paul, is on the short list. Only gets sold for food, or housing. LOL

They ain't going nowhere.
