Old dudes are asleep...

been to the store -- restrung 2 bass guitars-- set the 4 HIGH sprouting frets on the Peavey Fury bass.....picked up a bunch of sod -- raked the area to be "sodded" (will lay sod just before the afternoon rains--- so I dont have to water ;) --- ) -- let dogs in and out (at least 18 times) Set the action on the schecter bass.....
and now (eating a sammich) and WARMING UP THE SOLDERING IRON!!!!!!

for the record (just FYI ) Peavey Fury basses (P bass clones) are amazing-- for numerous reasons
1 -- dirt cheap
2-- the olderones are usa made
3-they sound like a P bass
tilt neck functionality
and ---- the JAZZ BASS neck profile --- so SLIM at the nut -- but "P" tone--no "adjustment" when switching from a Fender Jazz to the PEavey P they FEEL the same .....

love it

find an 80s/90s Fender P bass for under 300.00 ..........(good luck)
you can sometimes score these for UNDER 200 even

I've been to Orlando over the 4th. I know what you are saying. We don't have AC up here. Usually don't need it. Back in the cities the house is set to keep the guitars 70 during the day and 68 at night.

Just finished repairing the Minnows fuel line. Now it runs. Back to the lake in the morning. That's my bottle rocket launcher in the corner.
