I hate to admit this, but I didn't bring a guitar this weekend. I'm taking the Minnow out for at least a three hour tour tomorrow.

I'm kinda shocked you don't have one dedicated " travel" guitar.

You know, permanently at your cabin?

Good excuse for buying another.

Although if you're boating all day in the sun, a few beverages, not much energy left for playing.

I usually travel with my black SG. Just didn't figure I would have time. I have a lot of work to do here.

I know the feeling, I once brought a guitar with me on a out of town job, no amp, just the guitar.
I was going to use the internet to learn some stuff, internet connection failed.
So I pissed off the learning experience !!

I keep a pine 212 with Greenbacks and my JCM900 MKIII 2500 up here permanently. It's not really good at tv friendly volume, so it gets limited use when the wife comes with me anyway. I should pull out the hitch mount trap thrower and make her toss some pigeons for me to make up for it.

I know it is no good for a microwave.
But I have still not tried an amp !!
Need to try this and see.
Because I want to head out in the hills I used to ride in and blast an Origin !!

I've tried it

Not as good as the power at home, amp sounds little different.

But I can live with the trade off, by being portable.

All my friends use acoustics, but I'm kinda strictly electric?
