Cool Pics of Dad, Sp8
I survived but the custom paint didnt---
Set down and listen to this--------------
I was coming back that day-- from the Panama City Bike Fest -- BIG annual deal-- 4 days earlier the paint had dried on the MOST beautiful paint job ever---
2 versions of color change where laid (House of Kolor paint) -- over a black base with fishnet stockings stretched across the metal ---wait for it--
this gave the entire bike the look of lizard scales (iridescent color changing lizard scales) -- on the sides of the tank was painted in full color this logo without the "illustrated apparel crap"
and the artist added some of the iridescent color change in the lizards scales as well............it was TOO DIE FOR
and was done --- FOR FREE--- back in the day I attended MANY rally's and bike nights and bike fests and bike rides for this or that charity----lots of them--
the "deal" was -- Hank painted my bike---- I ride to events (it got a TON of attention at the PCB event) and I would hand out and leave HIS business cards for his body shop paint co. on the seat....generating business.....
I called Hank the day I got home from wrecking the bike------ I said Hank I got some good news and some bad-----
your paint got lots of looks and I handed out the WHOLE STACK of cards ya give me----"GREAT" he said---
but on the way home I wrecked the bike -----------------------------silence---------
Hank: "obviously you lived-- are you o.k.?"
YEP
Hank: "are you at home?"
yes just got here
Hank: "good because Im gonna come KILL YOU--------"
obviously he was kidding--
so -- thats that then ---- the evil little Sportster cost me a scar on my right elbow--- cost Hank a paint job........and gave me a great life story ---- to bore people on a guitar forum with DECADES later
