NGD: Yamaha Revstar RS502T

I sure still dig my '89 Yamaha RGX Custom which is built rock solid.

Id love a Norton Commando-- for polishing and looking at ;)
I road motocross on hondas as a kid and my first EVER bike was a honda -- you COULDN'T kill em -- (I TRIED!) ---

Now days I have VERY specific criteria----

it has to be TALL so I can see (over the retard in front of me) and BE SEEN--by all the other phone reading IDIOTS on the road--(no crotch rockets or low riders) it has to have long suspension -- it has to go ON and OFF road--has to be comfy 1 and 2 up--- it has to carry a LOT of crap---and it has to be over 100 hp-- and fuel injected--- WITH a chain final drive -- no "shaft" crap--- also duel disc front brakes and 1 rear are lovely-----

and see--- TRIUMPH made that exact bike---I owned 5 others when I got the TIger-- I sold them all rather quickly --- this (as long as you have a 34" inseem at min.) is (for me after searching for "the one since I was 10)----THE perfect bike

Sp8 finally got assimilated. If ya can't beat em, join em. Woohoo, Motorcycle thread. BTW, I really like that Yamaha Geetar.

Glad you didn't get one of these Yamahas. They are slow as a sloth.

That's my black bike and my friends make fun of me for bringing my umbrella on trips. On this flash flood rain deluge in the NC mountains, I had it keep at least a couple of us dry long enough for this picture as we avoided getting washed away in flood waters rushing down the mountain roads.

Chilli I cant make out what Brand your bike is. From what I see I really like it!!

Well Session, I have owned mine since Oct 2001. It just turned 17 years old Sept 11, 2018.

Nothing but fluids, tires, pipes and carb jetting. Good bike, very easy to ride and believe it or not, I have handled it like a knee dragging sport bike a time or 2 plus ridden on a 2 day trip home to Md from Daytona with a 300 mile first day and 600 mile 2nd day trip in the saddle all while it not being one of those Barcolounger Full dresser types.

Now that we totally corrupted this thread and of course others, I must say I actually like that Goose. But OMG Sp8, How do you not hear your neighbors sneeze or flush their crapper, or open a can of beer as close as your houses are together?

Life in SoCal...you just hope you have good neighbors, which I do fortunately!
