I'm so pleased that it found favor with you. I'm surprised you didnt dig the OOP tones. Would you say the D'armond is more like a P-90???

I won't comment on the LEVEL of disappointment.
Let's just say, the bigger question is what exactly are the frets Schecter used for your guitar?
Chinese metal, or same metal as the predominant longer lasting frets of other brands, or just nothing short of Stainless will stand up to rough service of Rob?

The answers to this question will likely answer the questions of how to proceed, fret choice wise if and when it is time to re-fret this guitar.

Schecter is built by WMI in Korea. I called Schecter in Sun Valley and they said the standard fretwire they use is Dunlop 6100 on their entire product line.

Not sure, but the WORST fret wear I've ever had were on my genuine Gibson's. I wore the frets flat on my 2016 Les Paul 50's Tribute in about 4 months.. so much so that it threw the intonation off.

How close are you to Schecter's operation in California? Maybe they can refret it for you with the stainless steel frets that they use on the Apocalypse, Evil Twin, KM series, etc? Sounds like you are really hard on frets, or at least just using the guitar all the time
