DD, I obviously could not do this with my orange tolex Behringer MDF 4x12. Glad it actually had the 4 Eminence Governor speakers he advertised, but of course he had it wired wrong to the stereo jack plate.

@LRT - is a member here....few years back, he picks up a Schecter Damien Elite FR...goes to take the rear cover off, and some of the guitar's finish came off with it. I didn't know this was common with Schecters.

And Robert - when you say the Gibsons are gone.....what does this mean exactly? Like, gone, gone? Or you still have em but they're not numero uno anymore?

I've had the issue with all C-1 style Schecters that I have worked on. The finish shouldn't have come off though unless he used a blade of some kind to pry it out. I very patiently hooked a dental tool through a screw hole to pry them off, and then used a razor blade to take some plastic off the edge. I am guessing that they size them to fit the unfinished wood, and depending on the thickness of the finish coats they can get very tight
