I've given up on the guitar, I just can't learn to play well enough. I don't think it's in my wheelhouse... I gave it ten years of my life and neglected my knife making. I'm focused on making knives now and I'm progressing very well at it!
I really wanted to be able to play but my brain and hands won't cooperate.
That does seem a tad heavy for a hollow, but it's a very nice looking axe! Also…. Your PRS comes in at 5 1/2lbs. My Hagstrom Viking is double that. It’s basically LP territory.![]()
I can't believe how lucky!Wow! Fantastic! Beautiful guitar.
Lucky you found it.
I do get that Chris. I’ve been at this since 1973. With the exception of the 10 years I played on my churches worship team, I’ve just been a bedroom player. And that’s all I’ll ever be. As it turns out. I’m okay with that.
One day in these hallowed TTR halls I was commenting on the immense talent we have here and compared I’m just a hack at best. Mr. Herndon pointed out to me that I wasn’t being fair to myself. Regardless my talent level, I was putting chords and notes together to make music. And thats better than the overwhelming percentage of the population can do.
Regardless, I'm glad you're still on the forum!
Gotta do what you want to do.At the end of the day, I have to get some satisfaction out of what I do. I get that with knife making, not so much with guitar playing.
I'll never leave the forum, too many good brothers here that I enjoy hanging with!
Sweet axe! Happy New hollow body day.
:dood:
Don’t hurt yourself picking that monster up. Wow, 5.5 lbs.
Thanks guys! That is indeed Total Sweetness!
DIBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Breathtaking!
@syscokid, I mostly say DIBS on sweet guitar pics to make bastarddon laugh.DIBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta do what you want to do.
Don't sell your stuff though. I somehow get the feeling you'll pick it up again.
