After I get my hip replaced in April I should be back to 5' 9". I will actually go lower on weight if I can start cycling again and get in 6000-8000 miles a year.
Wow! That looks really nice.I got up a bit early to knock back yesterday's coat with 800 grit and hit it again. The wood is still thirsty, but may start pooling soon

Thanks for noticing! I used a small block and 320 grit paper to get rid of what I could. The dark stain should take care of a lot visually also. That top is really taking on a nice depth.
Great touch up on the cavity edges as well.
This thing will be making music in a week.
Thanks! The back is not nice at all. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. But it was worth it for the top!I'll just echo everyone else - the top looks lovely. The back doesn't come across in pictures, but I reckon it's likely really nice in person?
Can you point out that area that you're referring to?In case you noticed the divot in the back...
Good idea, but unfortunately no. I routed before I sanded, so the dust was long gone.Ray, did you save any saw dust from the route? I’ve used SD and a little elmers glue to patch things like that. Add the same stain while mixing, put more material in than needed and sand smooth.
