I've been running a BE-OD into the front of my Marshalls for some time now anyway.
Now I can almost just get rid of the entire pedal chain. I don't like pedals, if I can help it. I like to have all my tones readily available with a twist of the volume knob if possible.

I'm totally blown away with this amp. From the start, it does indeed sound very Jerry, and that's huge for me, always thought he got some of the best Marshall tones out there.

On another note, it's time for new strings on the V.....and it's almost beer o'clock...

I do like a whole lot of amps that aren't Marshall really and have owned some other amps like small Fenders, Peaveys including an original 5150 head. One of these days when i get a bigger place and get off my Marshall Hang Up, I might try something else...but knowing me, ill probably get distracted and say " Hey thats a good deal on this Marshall!" Lol

None the less, Friedmans are very cool amps!

once you taste the honey nothing tastes the same only similar :)
 
In my tiny little mind, I always equate the Friedman's with Marshalls.

That is definitely his base "tone", just modified etc...

Now I can be officially jealous. Love all the Friedmans I have tried, and love my BE-OD.

The choice between the two was rather obvious for me as they're both comparably expensive here...

If we're talking full size amp heads though.......yeah, the Friedmans are very much more expensive
 
I've never done a demo before.

I can move a couple mics around and try to record a few things.

What would I need to do in order to create a video to go with it? Is this hard to do or is it something I can learn in an afternoon or so?
