One time I had a FedEx shipment sitting on their truck 20 frigging miles away in my own state for 3 days. I called the place and their excuse was they were backed up as a lot of trucks showed up and the dock was jammed. Give me UPS or even (gasp!) U.S.P.S anytime.

FedEx and UPS suck.....put then both together and you get FedUp. One time UPS left a $3500.00 PRS on my front door step, didn't knock, didn't ring the bell, just left it there and I had a *signature required* on it!! Luckily, I live in a small, small town so nobody messed with it.
