I've been banned from the Marshall Forum...

I grew up in a boating family, and we used to spend summers up in the San Juan Islands. Lots of fishing, mainly Ling Cod and Salmon. Love seafood, but not the extra slimy stuff. Octopus, squid, stuff like that. Not gonna do it.
When I was stationed in S Korea, I tried some squid jerky a few times. I tried oyster only once. About anything can be tried with a beer in hand. Except for that hot-ass chili pepper straight off the vine. Trashed out me learned a thing that day.

That's a work of art.
If you mail me the face plate, I'll make the opening bigger. :yesway:

Hey @fitz , I forgot to tell you... I emailed Nik for the exact chassis dimensions. It's 14" x 7.5" x 2.625". It will fit my cab, but the front panel would definitely need to be remade because the opening is not only too short, but it's too wide by 1 3/8". I thought about having Sandy just make me a longer faceplate to fill the side gaps, but I really think I'd be happier with a black head for this one. Besides, if I ever get back to the Lil' Devil then I wouldn't have a cab for it. I'm thinking about turning it into something else, but I don't know what yet.

So I'm going to have Sourmash make me a new head shell, black with gold piping. It'll look more Marshall than my actual Marshall after I did the stealth treatment to it.

When were you there? I was stationed in Songtan (Osan Air Base) in 92. Had such a blast, it was both the worst and best year of my life and I'll never forget it. That dried squid was gnarly, I remember eating it several times because everyone else was and that Soju makes you not care. I mostly remember the whole street smelled like dead fish when the cart was near by. Good times!

Scotch, it’s The Balvenie Doublewood. But these days I steer toward ryes and the occasional bourbon. (#1 son bought me a wheated bourbon that is very smooth.)

Not a big seafood fan… I’ll eat a seared salmon filet with wasabi, or a shrimp cocktail, but that’s about it. Except for sushi… I love it. Maguro, spicy tuna roll, smoked sake sashimi… yum.

I don't think I've ever tried Rye. I like a good Scotch in my old age, but I'm still a sucker for tequila. I love tequila, it's my Friday night go to. I love rum, too, but these days it gives me the worst hangover. Same thing with wine.
