More formerly great forums being sold off has been sending new members our way and I for one offer an extended hand welcoming them to join us. As previously mentioned, we are a small family here. I think that may be what keeps us a happy family.
When new people register to join us, I decline people that are blacklisted by email address or IP. If you know anyone that has been denied access and they are not a spammer jerk, let me know their email address before they try to register again and I open the doors for them.

My stroke messed me up in the attention to detail department. That coupled with my anxiety disorder I don't have the patience I had back then. I hear you. Some of the things you're living with, I am too. All we can do in life is to help prop each other up. By words or deeds.
 
This thread makes me sad/mad. I get the forum software updates can be frustrating- I've been through so many on so many forums over the decades, but that stuff usually smooths out and people keep on keeping on..for the most part.

However, I wasn't aware of MF going FUBAR with banning and deleting posts, etc. Granted, I don't spend much time in the backstage areas and usually stick to gear and music topics. At the end of the day, weeding out true "problem members" is one thing, but the aforementioned mod behavior regarding outstanding citizens * is the stuff that kills a forum community.

At any rate- glad to be here, and thanks for having me. I'll try not to terrorize TTR community with my terrible demos/playing like I do on MF.

All for the want of some clicks and ad revenue. By the time they realize their mistake it will be too late. It's really a shame and I wish it weren't the case, that place felt like home for years.
