I've been banned from the Marshall Forum...

I've been thrown out of better , I've been thrown out of worse :celebrate: :blink: :rolf: I try never to join any club that would stoop so low as to have me as a member, that would be embarrasing. :wink:
Jokes aside I was banned from Strat talk a time or two and the SG forum.
 
I might be next. I posted something in the complaint thread and Cross responded with a really weird post. I responded seriously biting my tongue, but I had to call him on it. That ain't him.

I also couldn’t get back in, and my phone won’t accept Emails right now, and I am still locked out..
Oh well..
 
My guess is antidepressants. He's chemically tripping. Cross used to be pretty straightforward and to the point. Trying to give things a positive push in the 'right' direction, but he's been all flowers and buttercups recently. This is the ugly side, it seems.

It seems (and I didn't know this until they rammed a counter in my face sidebar) that I'm the #1 contributor over there. I'll miss some of the old techs.

I signed up here a few years ago, but when I logged in, every post displayed the user's IP address. That's a huge privacy & security no-no, so I never posted and never came back. Seems ok now. Moderators can still see your IP address, same as any forum.

I'm sure there was a mistake made. May not have been the person the mod/admin was intending to ban. The frustrating thing was I had no way to contact an admin/mod to try and figure out what went down. I've said and done more egregious things here in TTR than whatever it was they thought I had done in that Forum. And literally it was after my third post. I hadn't been there long enough to tick someone off.

Actually what went down was, we had a couple admins retire from being admins leaving Grant to fend for himself. We'd also recently had a member that was a mod pass away. I've been here almost from the beginning.... in fact it was @WavMixer that invited me to TTR. We knew each other from etsg. So myself and @Mitch Pearrow SJMP were both invited to be mods. And now you know the rest of the story.

Nice thing about TTR.... and the new guys will figure find this out..... Mods really don't need to do much here. Seldom have to step in to resolve issues that have gotten out of hand. Personally as a mod..... I've answered more "how do I do something here" than I have intervening in disputes.... or posts that are not in keeping with our "mission statement."
