:dood::dood:Condenser mic’s are not my favorite choice for metal vocals....they can be alright in the right preamps with the right compressor, but a good dynamic is usually much easier to get the metal vocal vibe captured with a result that will “sit” in the mix in a more natural way. Both mic types require some attention to technique, but I feel that dynamic mic’s are more forgiving for the style. Just an opinion.Today I retracked the vocals 5 times.... Ended up grabbing a dynamic mic. I think I hate condenser mics. I'm too loud for them maybe? Or probably not good enough to sing into them.
I added 2 little identical solos.
It might be almost good enough now.
