Funny you mention that...there was a snafu on my Les Paul Special and now I'm getting a Les Paul Junior instead!
The Junior is the much hated 2015 model, but still brand new old stock. Still has the plastic on the pick guard and
still has the robo tuners, which will be replaced and sold off...
Now I need to find someone local to do that routing I was asking about in the first place!

What was the snafu?
FYI, I have that 2015 model and it is a wonderful guitar. I swapped out the robo tuners and replaced the nut. I will post the replacement nut in a moment

Yes, drop in replacement. The original nut was soft brass and soon gets grooves which creates fret buzz. As a result , Gibson sent free titanium nuts to all who had this model and wrote for one. I got a titanium, but this is much better
