Down here in SoCal, you see more Music Man's being played by the studio musician's than anything else. Seco nd place would go to PRS.
 
I did studio work when I lived in New York City and then everyone played Gibson Les Paul's or Stratocasters. That was up to one of the directors. I only had a Les Paul and I had to go out and get a Strat. Many times on the albums back in 1980s you heard studio playing and not the real background singers or the stage band. Studio players are on so many albums.

I know a few guys out here who dropped huge $$$ to get genuine (documented) early Les Pauls. However, the EBMM and PRS Artist Series are the ones I see the most...and a few Valley Arts Stratocaster shaped objects...
 
Girls play bass too, yep!
My son has been playing with 3 girls since high school.
20 years later they're no longer girls but wonderful wives and mothers.
Last year they did a 20 year reunion gig, they had it all together the crowd lapped it up.

I think it has been at least 6 years I have been on Guitar and Bass forums, and I have yet to run across anyone posting or mentioning Tower of Power

IF I was not married.........I would start a pilgrimage to find this woman......and she is Italian......Grandma Guarino would be so proud.
