FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

Not sure @Iron1 I used to mess with a beat machine and loops in the 90's primitive software back then. there are about 20 basic rock beats that you can find in just about 90% of all rock music. for punk and metal you up the tempo and add doubles and triplets.
Not sure how you do your creating with loops but I would start with a back beat, when it comes time for an accent or a fill, just over lap it on top of the back beat, then cut out the back beat in that area? make sure it all lines up on time... that probably didn't help much but you can run the back beat the entire song is what I am saying, then cut it out in area of your choosing where you overlap the accents and fills. once you have that you can start to change BPM and time signature stuff... loops are hard to do, much better just to go back and forth with a drummer :)
I'm looking into buying this here soon
That's good info. Thanks. And, agree it's much better to go with a real drummer, but they're really hard to find for a metal band.

I remember reading an interview with a famous jazz/blues player, and he talked about a more experienced guy who brought him onto the scene. He told a story about muffing something their first time playing out together and the more experienced player said "If you don't tell anyone, they'll never know..."
That’s a good one, but I thought it was completely obvious,, lol
Thanks for listening bro and the support

Cheers
Mitch

Well the audio sucks on this, and is why I need a better acoustic mic set up or just mic the drum properly. This is a 3AM WTF was that, but @Ramo wanted more double kicks... me in my crocs rocking the set with no direction. Hey but my arm didn't hurt so thats good news...
Cool jam…. Give me some more!!!

@Iron1

I wore most lame top I have in my wardrobe only for you…. As I know how much you enjoy my sexy tops:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:

The riff is a 9 out of 10. The Top is only a 4 out of 10. You should only where the the one from the how to make a video video, you know the Where's Waldo looking one, then change this series from Riff of the Week to #Where'sRamo?
Another piece of my Strat
Thanks for listening

Mitch
Killer stuff Mitch. Made me want tor reach for my SSS Hamer, but I took it apart yesterday to start the refinish on it...

I haven’t posted anything here in a spell. I’ve been kinda busy lately and with my free time I’ve been working on guitar lead playing lessons, bass lessons, learning how to use reaper.
I feel like I’m back in college with a full schedule.
Or should I say back at university for you European folk (@Ramo ).

I brought my mode 4 rig home from the rehearsal space last night.
Took my 6505mh 1/4 rig over there for awhile.

Anyhow, running my new guitar and new pedals through the MF to give it a whirl.

Different rig, new riffs, still great stuff and killer tone. Man, you're making me wish we still lived outside of Phoenix so you and I could get together and jam.
