HAHA Adrian, I was looking at the guitar and trying to figure out who made it. Now I see the link,,, a Dean. I am sure that is a top notch Axe if Dean is making those. Just ask Michael Schenker.

I gues-- I never had an issue with the BIG WING headstocks--- I mean it makes them UNIQUE and as we know I like the Unique and rare ---

Well, not that I hate them because I never used one. But, I did once have a large head stock Epiphone Dot ( ES335 copy) and I would always feel like I needed GPS to find the right tuning knob for which string I was trying to tune. Also, I mostly meant it regarding the V shaped Deans. I reallllllly like the original triangle type Gibson V shape best for V guitar bodied ones.

As much as I like Albert King and his V's, I still think the traditional Open Book Gibson headstock looks a little funny on it.

I count the 2 concerts I saw at this little club north of Baltimore as 2 of the best concerts I ever saw. One was UFO minus Mike, and the next year was the MSG band where I could literally walk around the floor and be virtually in any vantage point I wanted. Schenker killed it that night too.

Yeap. Everybody was doing it as a mod back in the late 60s and 70s, then Fender began making it straight from the factory.

My FAVORITE Strat mod is twin humbuckers, 3 way Oak-Grigsby with master volume and separate bridge and middle tones...
