Yea, its a single thump sound after that silence. I took a screwdriver and lightly tapped the pickups while plugged in and nothing.
take this cork sniffers , my hack em up DSLcr into a head..whole CD done on it.....We would have been thrilled to have an MG100 when growing up....
Before my Da scored that Plexi I had a simple 10 SS Monkey Wards contraption...With the Mark Farner Special fuzz pedal and man was I the hit around the block..

so that was my first thought in trying to do. so went to my mulitmeter and found that it is absolutely dead...which is when I went and tried to unplug and plug in the spare parts (thank god for the quick connects).
These pickups ground internally, as I am sure you know...but it seems odd to me that both pickups would fail simultaneously.
What happens when you alter the position of the pots???
