Ever have one of those...?

Thats my thought as well, which is what is really throwing me off. I heard of EMG's failing but usually it's just one not both and altering the positions doesn't seem to do anything both diming it out or slowly going all the way to "0" not a sound. I tried jiggling wires and get nothing, now yesterday i did manage to get a very weak output from the pickups for a few seconds and then it was gone, but never could recreate it, i messed with each individual wire, moving them around, nothing. I did forget to mention, that for a brief second the pickups seem to of picked up some sort of radio signal but that only lasted for a few seconds as well and never could recreate it.

Silly question...but you have verified the battery is good and tried a different cable???

perfectly legit qustion. I tried 3 different brand new batteries (I bought a few when I went to the production company as all three instruments i brought where active) I even replaced the battery connector just to be sure. Tried different cables, and plugged in that same cable to my richie faulkner V. different cables produced the same result and all cables worked fine in the V.

I'm inclined to suspect your selector switch. Need a multi meter to test it.

That would suck as it's brand new. However, that might be it, would explain why both pickups are out simaltaniously. Monday I'll give the guitar tech a call and see if they'll do me a favor and just check the switch real quick. If it is the switch i can't imagine they'd charge me to replace it as it is a product they sold me.
