Local bandleader asked me to salvage this. Frets deeply fluted from years of playing.

Horrible bridge design...no individual string intonation adjustment, like the early Fender's. Why use these dated parts in modern times???

Haven't decided which way to go just yet... more to follow...

Heel on good used neck (top) different than stock Epiphone neck (bottom)

Bottom neck pops into pocket and fits like a jigsaw puzzle piece.

Truss rod hex stripped out...

They are too gone to repair, from the photo. Try to crown them but I see new frets in the further.
The older but of no value Fender stuff I buy the low price necks. It doesn't matter from who because the cheap necks all have there own problems. Used necks have the holes already drilled and a match up to the body might be the fight of your life. I replaced frets two times and I don't want to do that again.

Nothing I have here has a curved heel...

Step one, use a 10 point bit and see if truss rod will adjust. If I can flatten the neck, then I will level and crown.

I like low frets personally, so we see what happens today...

I'm seeing six individual saddles with six individual saddle adjustment screws. What am I missing, why not individually adjustable?

And not to be a jerk, but these are really cheap guitars. You can buy them on Reverb for like $150.
Epiphone T-310 Telecaster 80's Blonde

Why wouldn't he just buy another if he's willing to put a new neck on the thing? It's gotta be cheaper than parts and labor.

Not hard to find decent T types used for a few hundred bucks at most.

I say kill it with fire:

I tend to agree, that guitar has been ridden hard and put up wet too many times.
