Pretty hot..Gibson.com claims the 500T is 11.4k Ceramic.

The Duncan JB-SH4 is 16.5k Alnico V.

So what is the difference between a SH-4 and a TB-4? I'm seeing both when it comes to JBs....

And I've got some TB-4s around...and an SH-5 custom... so apparently I do have a JB or two handy?

TB is a trebuchet. Fender tremolo pole spacing 53mm. Regular Duncan's are 49.2mm.

Okay so fender spacing makes sense, they are in my Jacksons (which fender owns) and therefore probably wouldn't be a good choice for my Epi V then..

Though I did think maybe it was some special industry insider lingo or something at first lol

It wouldn't be perfect, but good enough for testing. We're talking about 3.8mm here.

CB4 set done. The bridge ended up at 8.65k ohms. Pretty equally wound bobbins. Both are around 5400 turns. I like the look of the zebras, so I guess I have to put them in Blueberry now. Dang it.

I did. So far so good. I can't crank it up this late, but by what I can tell so far I am going to really like these.
