BC Rich Question

Not sure about the snobbery. Have not run across that.

I've only owned one BC Rich, a Los Angeles-made ST-3, in the mid '80's. It was an awesome guitar. I got it just because I needed something with a wang bar for a lot of the music of that era (Les Paul was still my main squeeze) and I was in a cover band. Looked exactly like this:

It was a really nice guitar, but the superstrat thing was never going to be my everyday axe. I think I had it for only about 2 years, until I left that band to join another that was doing all-original music. It ended up being a partial trade for a Les Paul that I was getting as a backup for my 77 Custom.

It had some or other DiMarzio in the bridge and it really screamed through my JCM-800

Mines not KOA but it is a Unity --- and it is FABULOUS --- paid a WHOPPING 250 for her ------ yup----

most recent Mockingbird I owned.......again bought low flipped for dough.....but it was not a shitty guitar at all. on par with anything else Cort or Rondo et all are spitting out --24 frets Jackson ish neck --- hell even LOOKS a bit like the Jackson-- Hunch Back Jackson...

My goodness the corcksniffery going on in this very thread about corcksniffery............obviously I am just not that f****ng picky or some folks are INSANELY ANAL about their gear......

Basically ---- if it plays and sounds --- and the neck aint to thick to activate my carpal tunnel........I can find good in most fo them.......

Although I was a bit of a victim of the era, we at least managed to stay more toward the harder end of the spectrum: My standard stage gear was leather pants and biker boots and usually a torn up t-shirt. Where it got embarrassing was the hair. It's tough to go back and look at those pictures where my hair is a foot tall and covered in half a pound of Aqua-Net.
 
Ray is a great guitar player---- he didnt care for the Dark side.......its a different vibe---- you gotta be a little "off" to be ON as a bassist.

King of the HILL
bastard weights maybe 25lbs and takes on the 300lb pig ---- regularly ----lil bastard has HUGE balls......he even tries to push me around now and again.....

funny as hell.

Photo of Maverick's cojones or it is a fairy tale Adrian! In exchange I'll post photos of my BCRs, fair? ( My apologies ahead of time to all the ladies on here!) LOL! I'll post the electrics either way. I don't want to get myself and anyone in trouble on here so I understand if Adrian does not post a photo of Mavericks' manly goathood.
