I am not against responsible drinking, but what I have seen from the many, most don't. In my life experiences, nothing good comes from the brown bottle. I don't drink any alcohol period, never had a problem with it. I made this choice years and years ago. I had a close friend who became an alcoholic when we hung out together, nicest guy you would ever meet. We used to go to a club, I would have a Cola, Then he would order a jug for himself, then he used to start into Gin straight, I would never let him drive I always drove. I would talk to him and try to get him to see he had a problem. He used to say to me your right, but nothing changed. His hands would shake, he was a wreck. Well I was transferred out of town and we lost track of each other. Hadn't seen him in 35 years until 6yrs ago my Wife and I were in the city where I used to live and we ran into him in the mall. His girlfriend at that time talked to us while he went to the rest room. She said he still had a drinking problem. Man he looked old, his hands shook more than ever and his body twitched. Sorry to say but if I said boo to him I bet he would jump. My Wife who didn't know him said he has an alcoholic problem for sure. He had lost a couple of really good jobs, also he was not working at the time we had our conversation. My take on it don't start drinking then you will never have to worry about stopping.
