Everyone did an awesome job this round. I feel the bar has been set sky high! I hope the bar don't go any higher this coming round, I don't see how it could!
We are a third of the way though @TVvoodoo 's RiffMasters Musical Mystery Tour!
We now find @Ku² still at the top of the heap, and well deserved.
@LiveeviL2000 is clinging on for dear life in the #2 spot.
@Thatbastarddon pops into 3rd completely fueled up from the Waffle House with Mallory riding shotgun!
The BIG BOSS @TVvoodoo and the musical reference champion @C-Grin are at a dead heat at 4th.
@Randy Van Malmsteen and @Sapient are tied at 6th but with the talent they have shown so far, they will be knocking some people off pretty quickly.
@jtcnj was rather quiet last round and @Jethro Rocker gave us a sonic treat both are locked together in the 8th spot.
@ibmorjamn is in 10th and this round could be his moment to haul off and give a 60s tune a modern twist!
Bringing us to our duelists. @Clockworkmike and @Mitch Pearrow SJMP ... this is a dream come true!!!! This is like watching two champion bare knuckle heavyweights go at it!!
Round 4 is here and who knows what is in store for us ...

Currently staging the duel, but first we need to be sure whom your competitor is. I think perhaps @Clockworkmike anticipated this dangerously deadly duel challenge from you was coming, hence his somewhat cryptic message that he was about to lay back from the game.
On the other hand, he IS an undefeated RiffMasters Guitar Duel champion! Ask @LiveeviL2000 , who is still recovering from near-mortal wounds after that tappedy-tap challenge. So, obviously this could get real interesting! @Clockworkmike is a fearsome, deadly competitor.

I have messaged him and given him the choice of dueling you, or running away wearing his choice of these as his new avatar.

That'll probably change soon after the Round Four Guitar Duel is announced, as the single point available there gets them over the line.

REALLY exciting!

Had a few songs set in a list in my head but I laid back so others could have first dibs. But none of you picked any of mine. Now I'm second-guessing all my choices LOL! Nice to see a few Beatles picks. Tough to do covers of those in my mind, the originals were very well done and remain so familiar.

I'd go with Richard Simmons. There is no way I'm getting guitar spanked like that again! ... well, unless I'm Richard Simmons, then a guitar spanking sounds like a good time!
 
Still not home from my 2 1/2 week hiatus to FL. So still no access to a guitar. But I did a quick pass on #1 songs in the 60s. Can’t decide on Bubble Gum….. straight up pop…. Or a song slightly more rock. Regardless. My production won’t match up with you guys. But I’ll see what kinda fun I can have. Maybe learn a bit on using Reaper.

After the always exciting Guitar Duel is set and planned, I will then reveal the rules of the Chapter 4 Side Hustle.
A generous up to 5 points will be earnable. This one may take a bit of wood-shedding and rather arduous
chops prep so I feel it's only right to forewarn you regarding the general nature of it. There will be no judging
on this, but to earn the full points, various clearly-stated challenge criteria MUST be met in full.

That said, only the great Christopher Walken can really express my thoughts best

The upcoming "Moar Cowbell" Side Hustle will require something (anything) that sounds similarly like a
cowbell and a way to conk it proper. A costume may come in handy too. That's all you get for now.

I'll bet good money @Thatbastarddon has a few rusty cowbells laying around. Probably next to where he found his rusty kazoo and triangle.
He is the only guy I know that can go in his garage and figure out how to play Chopin's Nocturnes in B flat minor with nothing more than a flathead screwdriver and a tire iron.
Although @C-Grin did use a power drill, so there's that ...
 
Also, not to set anyone in a panic, but the criteria for the Top of The Pops #1 60's Hits
challenge is that your song actually did make #1 status on the USA Billboard Top 100 list
that I supplied a link to.

If your choice does NOT appear on the list, your submission could be disqualimafied.
