World Peace for the Sickness should be the 2024 mantra.
I don’t know why, but I’m geeking out over this.

Thank you my friendHey very nice work C-Grin! I like the flow of the song, a catchy tune indeed, I will probably have that going around in my head today, Good job!

I’m speechless, tell two friends and they will tell two friends…..I watched this 3 times already. It Neil Young meets Disturbed. I showed it to a friend of mine. His reply was “Holy! That was great!!”

So here's a point for the Punk Submission. I gotcha Dave Matthews right here pallys! Lil GG Allin for the gallery, low fi production and all lmao
Any resemblance to possible recognizeable screen names, totally coincidental.
Total work of fiction and my lawyer agrees and he's wicked good, but expensive.
Personally, I think the excellent play on words for the title should make this punksterpiece worth TWO points. But one's the rule.

Great work fellas!Thought I would do the other half of the Folk entry of taking a rock song and folking it up. Maybe it worked maybe not, but here it is, Down with the fulka sickness.
Well Happy New Year! Way to kick it off! The last shaker really caps it off!My first Main Event submission for "Folk'd Up" round two. An acoustic take on Megadeth - pales in comparison to what's already been offered for this go-round, but my goal was to get a stab in at the challenge this weekend to take a bit of pressure off me for later in the month.
One of my fave 80's metal songs. It's different! I like some parts, others make me cringe. Still fun though, and don't think I detracted too much from the general anti-war/tyrant spirit of the message... I hope!
I had a regular rock kit going, but super low velocity... high hats, snare and crash, but then I ditched it all in favour of a more stripped down cajon effect and cheezy shaker tapped out on my Yamaha keyboard, plus you know I love my tambo. Couldn't find my dang shaker egg! Had conga drums in it for a bit - that was interesting.
Not really sung, well kinda. This doesn't break any rules, vocals not required so semi-spoken word has to get a pass
I'm not one to be out drinking champagne on NYE LOL! Stiil about 30 min. before 2024 so this is my last recording of the year, and admittedly not a very fruitful one that way.
Hopefully this Riffmasters thing can help me be inspired, develop more comfort around recording and learn some new stuff too.
May 2024 treat us all better than we deserve LOL!

Thank you all and good morning!Well Happy New Year! Way to kick it off! The last shaker really caps it off!
I’m gonna go pour my coffee now…
That was wild!
I’ve got a Punk entry coming, but there is football onWho is gonna be the first entry of 2024? When will the bullets start flying in the three way "punk rock" musical melee? So much drama!

We are just over one week in and already 3 punk-outs and 3 folk-ups have been laid down. That's a minimum 18 points earned, and the momentum will probably accelerate as the early birds inspire the day shift.
I hope to begin my second Folk-Up this week, but plan to put a bit more care into my folk -> rock song arrangement 'cause I'm gonna need are real banger to hold my place on the scoresheet
Once again, these musical challenges are 100% open for ALL TTR members to jump on.
You know you want to!

Man, I can see I'm going to get my 5 points this round and be thankful!Alright so I suck at real recording, don't understand that damn thing still all this time later and my patience with it is at the point the computer is getting ready to be skeeted in front of my 12 gauge. But, I got something anyways, for better or worse ( hey at least I didn't take a knee or punt this challenge even though it IS Folk and this has gotten the better of me, I'll admit lol)
Here we go, warts and all
