Announcing... RiffMasters!

You have my apologies.
Actually i have great respect for anyone who plays weii in ANY genre.
i just tend towards the jazzier side of the spectrum in my own playing.
No need at all. The lads were jokingly referring to this post.

Well, “Metal to the Core” is not for everyone.lol You metal heads are persistent with the chugga chugs and the droning Bee’s.

Quite a while back I learned most of the signature lines in Glenn Miller’s In the Mood. It was my dads favorite song.
Interesting Glenn Miller story. Played trombone…. As did I. Both sons. And now my granddaughter who just started college this fall. She’d been borrowing a horn while in HS but obviously needed her own for college. With the help of her professor they tracked one down. Only played a couple times. Really nice horn. So they bought it from…… ready for this…. Glenn Miller. That was a hoot.

Edit: I should have added….. some guy named Glenn Miller from southern Illinois. Got asked once if it was the estate of the real Miller. Nope.

What's On Your Mind by Ku on #SoundCloud

What's On Your Mind

Would you give anything to hear what's on my mind?
The ever present now, and leave the past behind,
This life we have is short,
so learn the lessons we are taught.
I would give anything to hear what's on your mind,
All the time.

The days and nights go by with changes so profound,
I walk the only path, the only I have found.
Or it's the one I've made, the only one, the trail I've blazed.
I would give anything to hear what's on your mind,
All the time.

Oooow Oooow Oooow Oooow

Would you give anything to do it all again?
Live life with no regret for happiness, my friend.
The time we spend is gold,
That can't be bought,
It can't be sold.
I would give anything to hear what's on your mind,
All the time.
