Be not afraid! You are actually pretty much the poster-boy for RiffMasters. Much of this is designed for a situation like yours.
Truth to tell, there are a number of challenges where it will be handy to have more than a simple i-phone to be competitive, BUT, there is no requirement for anyone to complete every challenge. And even if you drop a bare-bones attempt at any challenge, you will still earn the minimum points, and cannot be expelled. Simply dip in for the ones you feel confident you can tackle
Are there not several multi-track programs available for Iphones? Even a simple looper pedal gives you a ton of power
I guarantee anyone worried about scoring low, understand I have gone to great lengths to weight the points system fairly for all players and
the Guitar Duels are a huge part of opportunities to equalize the game - everybody will have chances to participate, contribute to the action
and guitar-man camaraderie, and just plain have fun playing guitar.
If you opt out of registering, you lose the chance at any Guitar Duel points, which will be
significant. This part of the game is designed to
keep it competitive and entertaining for players of all situations, skill levels. No fancy rigs are required for the guitar duels, or anything really.
Anyone who finds themselves left in the dust will find themselves showered with insane chances to turbo boost their scores via the duels.
There are well over 140 points waiting to be earned in the guitar duels alone!
I also anticipate there will be some extra strategies involved in this game I haven't even thought of. It's kind of experimental at this point.
I'm still adding ideas.
