Thanks man....hell yea I still have it. That thing isn't going anywhere.
Sadly I no longer have it but in 1977 I got a new '77 Les Paul Custom that I did own for 22 years before selling. It was the guitar I learned to play on, the guitar I gigged with throughout the '80s and '90s and the guitar that set the mold for my taste in guitars to this day. Although I no longer have it I do have something from the era that has filled that void and scratched that itch...

So, I guess you could say: 44 Years a Les Paul guy

My first was this '68 SG that I bought in Davenport IA in 1986 I believe. It's a righty and I'm not. Played it strung backwards for a couple of years until I got a proper left handed Les Paul in 1988. My brother has it now, so it is still in the family.

my next guitar after selling my LP in 1991 came in around 2000-2001. Sadly I sold it too
What a great thread!!!!!
Thanks buddy. It is great....I tricked everyone to post awesome pics of their guitar porn. Love it all.
I've seen your guitars over the years.... some great ones. Many with a history of your growing as a musician. I know you didn't bond with it, but I loved your SG. I started counting my dollars when you put it on the market, but i couldn't pull it off. That guitar was clean.
