The heads to have are the 2009 with full thread plugs.
Mobil one , 10,000 in the wife's Yaris.
I drive it since I have 120 mile round trip.
It gets 400 miles to the 10 gl tank.
Cruises at 75 -80. I work the 4 banger but it's at 55000 miles so about 30,000 a year.
I drove the truck on Thursday , it is not quite getting that milage. $75 in the tank got up 3/4.
King cab long bed 4 x 4.
That's about as much as I would spend but going 10,000 makes it worth it.With Mobil 1, the additive package is not as robust as with Rheinol, Motul or Total Quartz. I've used Mobil 1 and had periodic oil analysis performed on the oil.
If using Mobil 1, you would be well served to use the "Extended Performance" version. It costs about the same, but has an additive package closer to Rheinol.
Rheinol is the undisputed king of engine oils.
Mobil 1 actually offers a "European Car Formula" that is much closer to Rheinol. You can buy a 5 quart jug of either for about $29.00
The short version is, Mobil 1 Extended Performance or European Car Formula is almost as good, in terms of longevity, as Rheinol Primus.

I don't currently own a sports car.
I might someday get the International upgraded but it's a slow tedious process.

I do the extended Mobil 1 in my Civic. My little sewing machine engine hasn’t complained yet. With Mobil 1, the additive package is not as robust as with Rheinol, Motul or Total Quartz. I've used Mobil 1 and had periodic oil analysis performed on the oil.

Its cool if you like it.
We saw some issues with it in several applications. When we questioned the engineering department, they were thrown off completely by our questioning and then began stammering and falling back on marketing claims.
Interestingly, the fact that no Amsoil product is API certified wasn't my deciding factor in not using their product in our engines.
Once i smell bullshot in a business deal, that company is finished as far as we were concerned.
Well, AMS/Oil is API rated
rotects Against Engine Wear Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil develops a strong fluid film that keeps metal surfaces separated. Its robust anti-wear additives further reduce wear in metal-to-metal contact regions for maximum engine life. The Sequence IVA Engine Test, which must be passed to meet the API SN PLUS specification, simulates extended periods of stop-and-go driving. For 100 hours, the test engine cycles between 50 minutes of idling and 10 minutes of elevated rpm — conditions that encourage engine wear. The camshaft is then measured for wear in 84 locations and an average score is determined. We used Signature Series 0W-20, the lightest viscosity in the line, to further increase the severity of the test. AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil provided 75% more engine protection against horsepower loss and wear1 than required by the industry standard, extending the life of vital components like pistons and cams
