The Joe Bonamassa buy-out of Gibson is a hoax.

I’m home sick in bed so I have some spare time to research these things!

The thing is, you would need a bigger house, like a hangar or something. Because you KNOW you would continue buying the cheap guitars. While Joe would buy ONE 1958 Gibson Flying V, on the same budget you would buy 2472 Rondos, 574 Agiles and 300+ basses of various brands.:D
 
I think Slash would make a better CEO of Gibson than Joe Bonamassa because I feel he is a better guitar player and even though Joe is good at guitar I feel he is way over-rated. Slash is already the official ambassador for Gibson so he's due for a promotion. Besides he's way cooler looking than Henry J.:wink:

I agree. The core Gibson guitar brand has done some strange stuff since 2012 or so, but the 2017 & 2018 line up is excellent. Focusing on the Gibson guitars and not studio monitors and other stuff should focus the company on their core proposition.
 
Epiphones are great guitars for the money. I should know since I own one. Gibson could learn a lot from them.
