Well, his Epiphone signature models are very affordable. And he even plays them on stage.I like Joe. He seems like a decent fellow.
The thing is, you would need a bigger house, like a hangar or something. Because you KNOW you would continue buying the cheap guitars. While Joe would buy ONE 1958 Gibson Flying V, on the same budget you would buy 2472 Rondos, 574 Agiles and 300+ basses of various brands.He is a FLIPPER and a gear hound......Id like to go with him on one of his shopping sprees.

I don't think we as guitar "consumers" will notice much. It has been said that the guitar side of the business has been doing well for many years. If they are (finally) trimming dow the operation, getting rid of the excess fat that is the non-guitar related stuff, I think Gibson will thrive.
They will increase in value.
In fact, they already have.
