Photography, wildlife and more

Thanks bro....no, I haven't entered any. I have thousands of pics, a few really good ones. My wife wants me to enter them at a local fair. Every year she sees the winner, and says "see, you would have won"!! Obviously she has a biased opinion.... But I do think id be in the running. I have a couple animal pics that I think are amazing.

A few years ago, I would pull up to this field every single day after work, waiting for a coyote. I was in disbelief when it actually showed. I snapped 10 thousand pics real quick..I couldn't believe it. Even had great light, which is rare for coyote. And do you know, my disappointment when I got home to review them.....they all sucked. I think I was so nervous, I rushed and shaked or whatever I did. I would rather just enjoy the moment sometimes, and not have a camera.

You are a fortunate human in my opinion. Please continue to enjoy, and share...there have been many excellent pics so far. Thanks.

I think you should take the advice of your Wife, and enter some pictures . You are very good at Photography my friend. I encourage you to enter some contests.

I love taking pictures...of EVERYTHING!

I just think it's so cool to capture the moment. My absolute favorite subject is wildlife....deer are my fave, but any animal or creature harnesses my attention.

Now, I do not claim to be a photographer....amateur at best....But I do enjoy it.

I have seen so many incredible moments in the woods, that I can't even explain. But I am truly blessed to witness such events. I spend countless....and I mean countless hours sitting in a tree, just to see things few men see. I am blessed, and I appreciate every moment.

feel free to post anything you have captured on camera, living or otherwise, that you enjoy and appreciate.

Hopefully, people will share what they witness in life, or just have a passion for(guitars are welcome)...I have a few simple ones to share, and will share things I see along the way of life. I saw a bobcat yesterday, and captured a horrendous picture....But I did capture the moment.

I really like the Tug/Fishing boat picture. Good Eye.

The hobby demands much caution. I stated catching them when I was 8. I was never bitten while handling them. However, I was bitten on the right hand in 1991 while gathering firewood. Go figure.
"Never steal a snakes firewood!" ... I always say :rolleyes2:

I would rather just enjoy the moment sometimes, and not have a camera.
Many times I'll see something very beautiful from nature. My first reaction is a desire to capture it. And when I do, most of the times the results are depressing.

This is the main reason that I never bother with using my smartphone to capture video clips of a concert performance. I rather focus on "enjoying the moment", than fiddling with a gadget and watching the "moment" thru a tiny window.

Just got home from a 250 mile road trip to Brownlee reservoir in which the Snake river turns into. There is 55 miles of shoreline and runs along the Idaho, Oregon border. Beautiful sunshine and a bit cool yet but nice. Brownlee dam which turns into Oxbow reservoir and then Hell canyon reservoir through Hells Canyon Idaho....

Wow, end of winter and the level is still that low? Doesn't bode well for summer.

Don it is regulated by Idaho Power Company and there logic is "preparing for spring runoff. But sadly there isn't much snow up in the mountains right now. Of course it doesn't look like it to be the case with the snow covered mountains you see in the pics. I have seen better and definitely seen worse. The majority of our spring runoff comes from the Rocky Mountains......
