Music for me is evolving, so many choices.
I have several versions of this orchestral
Song. I wrote the lyrics , an after thought was the orchestra. I really wanted a song more like Jacob’s ladder but it is very different.

I hate to judge these things. I like both, for different reasons. However, both share some sort of cinematic vibe…very “Hollywood soundtrack” IMO. This is in no way a bad thing in my book. The second one is shorter, and gets to the point more quickly. The first builds itself a space, and fills that space pretty well…more dynamic.

You nailed the description, I tweaked the first for more guitar and cello.
Also the vocal.
