It would be so much easier if I just switch out the cream rings for black and put the black knobs on it.

Something like these might look cool?Maybe I need to look for something in Brass or bronze.
Perhaps reconsider reflectors?
These are what I have on my Tribute.
I think they'd look great with the new stain color on yours.
My 2 - cents is either the Gold , or Amber.
It makes the controls pop more, but that’s just me.

I know a lot of guys like them, but I don't care for reflector knobs. I have a bunch of those metal "Tele" knobs that are black. I'm thinking about what would be a good color to paint 4 of them. Like one of the browns or maybe one of the metallic colors like antique brass or one of the bronze or copper or something.

Looking at knobs on line I came across some wooden ones that reminded me that I have some...somewhere. I don't remember what I bought them for but I remember they didn't work out. Well I haven't found them yet, but looking for them I came across 2 cream tophats I didn't know I had. I put them on here to get an idea what they'll look like. I don't hate them, but I think it'll be too much cream if I use them.

They look too yellow-ish (imo) compared to the rings and bobbins.
I got a set of "cream" reflectors once with a similar too yellowish color.
After some minor modifications, they're refrigerator magnets now...

They don't look as far "off" looking at them as they do in the pic. For what ever reason the camera makes the cream bobbins and rings look whiter than they are. But I see what you mean. I think it's too much cream anyway.

Ok worrying and stressing over something as stupid as knobs is ridiculous, I've suddenly got way too many other thing to worry about so I'm not going to stress over this anymore...It really is done this time.

I just think it would look better with double black pickups, but for what it would cost to replace these I can live with it...for now.
