Announcing... RiffMasters!

My father announced the other night he purchased another house fan. He's got a health condition makes him feel
super hot all the time, and no A/C in his home. As a result he's got fans in every room now, trying all the different styles.
Drives my mom crazy, because they are everywhere, oscillating, blowing, humming, and she thinks they are ugly.

He told us he spends time researching online seeking the best ones, orders them via amazon. When I suggested to my pop
the best website he should try is called Only Fans, my son spewed ginger ale all over himself. that was fun!

i LOVE it!

After a long period of sitting on the doorstep of the Shaolin Monastery in all kinds of weather our heroine is finally admitted
inside, but instead of beginning her training she is sent to the kitchen to cook and clean.
Although this causes bitter tears at first, she soon takes the opportunity to watch as the monks train and begins to learn the
movements on her own. Before too long, she becomes proficient in the basics, but when she is discovered she fears that she
will be dismissed or at least severely disciplined.

Instead, one of the masters takes charge of her training ...

NOTES: i did think that the backing track was, although super funky, a bit repetitive.
There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that, it's a funk thang after all, but i thought i might be able to create some variations
through harmonic substitutions and chordal movement.
After laying down the basic track, i added the first track of rhythm guitar (panned left a bit) and then taking a page out of the
gospel according to James (Brown) i recorded a second interlocking guitar part.
i also used Nile Rodgers' right hand technique to emphasise certain notes in the chords, but i never played any single notes.
Recording was with 'Nat', my homebuilt T-type with a no-name neck 'staple' P90 and a Seymour Duncan Broadcaster bridge
pickup, into my HX Stomp and RC-3 looper and from there into a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface connected to a mac running Logic.
i added eq and compression to each guitar part individually in the DAW.

I also do not have A/C in my house. I'm going to check out this "only fans" site you speak of. Be back in a few hours....
