Announcing... RiffMasters!

So, for like the past few weeks.... for obvious reasons.... I've had Jessie's Girl ear-worm stuck in my head. And not just the tune.... the darn fret board and playing it. Sitting eating breakfast this morning I realize a new ear-worm had displaced Jessie's Girl. And it had to be Amanda. S.M.H. And I have our good friend @Jethro Rocker to blame.... or.... thank for that. :eek:

Main rule of this duel is... a MINIMUM of lead note playing. It's strictly rhythm, you don't wanna make it cry or sing.
Keep it clean, keep it tight, but you got all kinds of room to do what you do, with bucketloads of sixteenth note barrages.

Bootsy and his band have laid down a super boss groove for y'all and demands you send it all the way Downtown Craytown express,
throw that hand like your life depends on it, and make is funky enough to call in all the skanky freaks with your fresh new riddims.

Minimum 1:00 of funk frenzy, doesn't matter who fires first by posting in this thread. The other must reply within ten days, then it
will go to a community vote. As you can see... there are 14 pts. available for the winner, and seven for the un-winner, just for playing.
And, as per usual, ANYONE in the game can try this anytime during this round, but it's only worth ONE extra point for the rest of us.

Choose either of the following “Movie” intros (vintage or modern) and create a kickass opening credit roll soundtrack music theme befitting an awesome spy flick!

Spy Game Vintage


Spy Game Modern

Two bonus points awarded for each of the following:
“Added Sound Effects” (at least three different ones) (2 pts)
“Edited and uploaded all by yourself” (2 pts)
"Post two very different style spy themes for BOTH vintage AND modern credit intro versions" (2 pts)

Your “Spy Game” Main Event submission is due in this RiffMasters thread Weds. July 24, 7PM.
If you need help editing your music to the video, please have your track done by July 20, and I ( or someone else) will gladly plop it onto the video of your choice for you.

Round Four Main Event Scoring: 48 hour Community Poll Vote on submissions post deadline.
Top Vote Earner = 10 points
Second & Third Places = 7 points.
Participation Award: All other competitors who submit = 5 points

Not only this dramatic spy music challenge, but we’ll also enjoy another super fun Guitar Duel as well as a completely mind-bending Side Hustle that’s gonna take SERIOUS guitar guts for most of us to dare to take on. I’m rather frightened of it myself.
