Just installed the hipshot locking tuners.
All electronics are done.
Just waiting on the roller bridge and ferrules to arrive.
Then I’ll test drive this thing!!

The original Charvels only had one knob and one pickup .. and I thought they had great toanz

I think that the body wood they used was too soft, the bridge studs tend to come loose and fall over.
Does not strike me as a very good design....

the Cobra is ready and prepped for gloss.
The owner of this thing wanted to capture the feel of a Shelby Cobra.
All that’s missing is the 427, side pipes and the Cobra badges
I think this thing will play as fast as it looks.

I never reported back on the Cobra paint job.
Here it is 90% done. Just need to hit it with a final polish and buff.
The camera don’t catch all the metal flake in the paint. But when the sun hits it, it really sparkles.
