LiveeviL’s Guitar Rescue Lab.

Got the first set of stickers and the tuners. Pictures are the old ones and new ones. I need to drill new holes for the screws. Which isn’t a big deal. Otherwise the pegs line up perfectly.
I already did the fret treatment and cleaned it up best I could.
Today the other 400 stickers should arrive along with the new bridge pins.
The 500+ stickers should take longer to apply than any guitar I’ve painted to date. In the end the blanket of stickers will be like wrapping the entire guitar in waterproof vinyl

I’m at it again boys and girls.
The rescue and refinishing lab is open again.
My schedule is filling up.
First I have a Warlock which was sent to me to get redone. It was a reverb purchase and was heavily damaged in shipping. It was sent to me to revive it.
I don’t have before pictures. But it looked like a certain brown clad parcel company decided to use it in a track and field javelin throw event. It needed surface wood repair. The horn on the headstock were badly damaged and it needed care.
Since I do like crackle. I wanted to do a Ride the Lightning theme.
Here it is so far with 4 coats of clear.

I also have a custom guitar by LEF which I was commissioned to finish. More on that project to come.

Not a fan of this shape guitar….. but holy cow you do a good job making them look cool.

Today some of the hardware arrived for this Warlock.
I put fresh electronics in it last night. New pots, 3 way switch, and jack.
I have a set of SD Distortions (Mayhem set) with black powder coat covers which were delivered today.
I have some knobs, deciding on if I should use black speed knobs or black metal knurled knobs.
I'll show pics of both when I have all the electronics and pups installed.
Still waiting on my roller bridge (arriving 6/7).
