my 80s top of the pops went up in flames last night but luckily there was still a save file before I screwed it all up. I faked my way through the main vocals, but the group "ghostbusters!" chant is still a bit embarrassing at this point lol.
If I can squirrel my way out of a 4 year old's birthday party tomorrow after work, I can hopefully wrap it up in peace.

ooh ooh ooh, I can help with the group ghost busters. Is it against the rules to help out?? I can do a few different voices to get that "GHOST BUSTERS!"
Come on can you imagine Dougie and the crew from my parodies on it!
 
I'm probably a week away from my 80s Top of the Pops tune. It's been a week and haven't had much time to play but I should be able to learn most of it over the weekend and then leave a week to refine and record.

I'm not brave enough to sing like some of yoos so it'll be just my guitar over a backing track with original vocals. Hope that's ok.

You may feel more confident after hearing my attempt at vocals lol

Have you actually braved listening to my vocals?!?
 
My inability to sing really put a hamper on my musical education. I took many music theory and composition classes in highschool/college, but when I was getting into some of the advanced stuff, sight reading exams were big parts of my grades and not being able to sing back a note accurately put me up a creek.
Looking back I should have just taken lessons but at the time I thought I was a hot shot guitarist that didn’t need them

I have a granddaughter with perfect pitch. Plays trombone. Headed to university of Illinois in the fall on a music scholarship. One day in band the director asked someone to play a Bflat for the band so they could tune. No one did….. she hummed the note. Yep. Perfect.
 
Singing ....:fan:, I know some people who can sing. Lol

I'm not one of them. I almost pulled the country challenge song off several rounds back.:bash:
