Fellas, sorry for the disconnect - had family stuff and obligations, work etc. Sigh. I thought maybe
you fellas could go on autopilot and spur each other on. Instead, seems like you guys just wander around
bumping into each other mumbling about stuff. Much like the care home my father-in-law is now residing in.

Main Event #4 "60's Cover"
The official rules of the Round 4 "Moar Cowbell" side hustle are here:
Moar Cowbell rules
The official rules of the other Round 4 Guitar Duel, (worth a single point for anyone who dares to attempt)
are simple.
Drop tune your guitar and brew up an original riff of the sort that's bound to scare small
children or make your TTR brothers worry about what your other hobbies could be. DARK and EVIL. Min. 1:00
NOTE : there is a bookmark function all TTR members have to bookmark important posts. Find the bookmark symbol in
the top right corner of every post. Use it for the ones you want to mark and label it whenever there is a new challenge post.
Very helpful! You can save/delete them at will. Super handy for quick reference.
I'm not really sure where everyone right now, at because I need to go through the list of what might have dropped when I had
to take care of personal stuff. I do recall hearing the Eleanor Rigby cover
@Ku² performed, pretty much flawlessly by the way.
I was hoping he was going to darken/evil it up a bit as per the challenge asked, but instead he went with a rather faithful recreation
of the original, quite masterfully, I have to agree. Taking the time to learn new skills for such a thing does deserve our notice,
and putting that production together had to have been quite a feat, never mind the performances, singing/harmonies, the bow work etc.
The deadline for the Round 4 Main event is 7PM This coming Tuesday,
so this is the last weekend prior to deadline, so this is your priority if you
have not submitted your 60's #1 cover yet. Again, NO obligation and the
competition is stiff! But... there's five points for participation, minimum baby!
You can still get your "Deth Drop" or "Moar Cowbell" in before the end of the vote which would be 7pm Thursday.
The points for moar cowbell vary depending on how you attack the challenge, you can get 1-5 points, depending.
Guys, I had to step a way for a bit, but I'm back. I still need to do my own Moar Cowbell challenge, probably this weekend.
I'm not feeling I can leave any points on the table to fall away unclaimed. It's gonna to be a hard-scrabble climb to
the upper numbers from here. At challenge 5, I'm wondering if anybody will have reached halfway to 100, at 50 points.
I believe only two are within striking distance of that next RiffMasters level, past "Sideman" after this vote.
I have also planned out a rather titillating Main Event #5 reveal coming in less than a week, and at least one side hustle.
We'll also likely enjoy a guitar challenge between forum chieftain
@Mitch Pearrow SJMP and new warrior
@Aynirar27 which
should provide compelling entertainment. Young, strong ambitious buck vs experienced, wise and toughened buck
RiffMasters may have had a lull, but it's stamina, smarts and the long game here that really matters.
Are you in it to win it?
