I havent been on much lately, work has been brutal lately.
I may have lost track of the entries. Here is what I have so far. Let me know if I missed anything.

With the latest entries, @Ku² gave me the ole heave-ho out of the penthouse and is now enjoying the views all by himself. @C-Grin and @Clockworkmike are in striking distance of that #1 spot.
The only thing that will get me the keys to the penthouse now will be a vulgar display of COWBELL!!!

@Ku² supplies a Deth drop that made my jaw drop! That was something else! a Display of nasty knarliness that probably evoked his current living conditions, and desperation to break
out of it. Probably the hardest work any of us have yet done for a damn single point, but that point is his, and deservedly do, @LiveeviL2000 has been kicked to the curb with his worldly possessions. A BC Rich, a Marshall half stack, a box of 80's skin mags, (probably a few hit paraders mixed in), and a trash bag full of clothes stolen from past girlfriends.

Alright fellas... not much more than 24 hours to get your Main Event 60's song in. It be CRUNCH-TIME FOR THE MINIMUM 5 points, maybe more if you can muster the votes!

DEADLINE IS 7:00 PM Central Standard Time Tomorrow night, after which I will reveal a voting thread post.

You can still supply us with "Moar Cowbell" and your "Deth Drop" before the always painfully exciting 48 hours of voting ends on Thursday evening.

As a word of warning for the next Main Event to be revealed Thursday, I suggest you fellas may consider loading up on testosterone supplements, viagra may be helpful to some, and won't hurt any of you. Might not be a bad idea to scarf down a dozen raw oysters, too. Stamina will be required!

The last time I did all those at once I went lightheaded, passed out for two days, and woke up to an eclipse today.
But hell, Thursday is date night so why not!
 
Well…this was fun! Here’s my 60’s #1, aaaaand….my Moar Cowbell?….rolled into one.
I had “other” ideas, but fate would intervene…I found myself playing with the eclipse, in a medical center parking lot, today.(not for me…I had to transport someone)
So….I threw this together instead…


Some Kemper.
Some UA6176.
Some crap vocals.
Some midi.
A T-40.
A T-60.
And a SG.
Oh, and some video shenanigans…

I hope this doesn’t get anyone else hurt….;) :cheers: :dood:
 
@Thatbastarddon has the funniest looking cowbell I've ever seen, but he still conked out pretty good in
his 60's rendition of Paint it Black, A Fuzzy Black, with the video it's worth 4 cowbell points, automatically,
not the full five, because it's an entirely appropriate application of cowbell, works real good actually!
But how many points will his pretty darn fuzzy paint it black get? Fuzzy in the tones, fuzzy under that mask!
Really good cover version Don, your vocal delivery, harmonies and arrangement was stellar, not crap at all!
Feeling an even more, "in distress /manic/pained" feel by your delivery, than the original, so you took it
further for sure! Those lines contrasting nicely with the dark, monk-ish lines. Even if you did have to rent
out the cockpit of the space shuttle to record, it was worth it. And much respect for the decible meter,
or perhaps that's your studio temperature in Farenheit?

So that means only five RiffMasters have completed all three challenges (so far) in Round four. I don't think
we are quite done, still time to eke an entry in for all three!
I said it before, this is a marathon, not a sprint. We are only now creeping up on the halfway point of the game.
Not everybody will be interested in or want to complete every challenge, but those who are able to complete
more than others, will find themselves slowly gaining points over those who opt out

I also note that we have seen the return of brother @mcblink who is still fully welcome to jump in on any of these
challenges at any time. Once again I stress these challenges are less about points, more about the spirit of sharing,
putting all this gear to work, and expanding our creativity, and having a few laffs.

Big night tomorrow night, big week actually!

The entire staring into the camera with no emotion or enthusiasm was creepy as hell! I’ll have nightmares for a week.
