Stunning instrument sir, stunning indeed.

I know you could do it justice, I'm sure you deserve it.

And there is no way on the Good Lord's green Earth I'll say anything to stop you.

In fact, can't wait to see your NGD posts, your photographic skills should make that a helluva post.

Do it, please ... Lol.

This is slim taper as per my other LPs, the way I like it!

Thanks much!

Done like dinner. Cannot get a 60 reissue here without the hardware being pre beat up and here, you get to see the exact guitar you are ordering. This thing is stellar.

No I need at minimum a backup. Plus.. well, more toys more fun!

Hmmm...i suppose so, but ive played many, many a live show with just one guitar and one amp. I dont consider a backup mandatory.

For many years, i couldn't afford more than one guitar.

I have great faith in certain guitars. My 2021 Gibson Les Paul 50's Standard Gold Top is one such guitar.

It goes everywhere with me.

"I’m not one of those guys who has a favorite guitar. A guitar is just a tool. I haven’t played one of my own guitars for six months or more. I’ve been borrowing guitars from Ibanez for sessions and all the live stuff I’ve been doing. I don’t really have any attachment to one guitar. I was never one of those guys who babied guitars or had a special guitar. I just want a good work tool that stays in tune and sounds good. It doesn’t really go beyond that at all, boringly enough! I wish I had a Lucille story...."

- Marty Friedman

I can dig this...

Yes you also have broken a string now and then. Stop the set and change it?
Amps fail. Tubes die. Screws loosen. Didn't your 8100 also crap the bed at a show?
The ONE time I did not bring a backup I blew a tube and had to use other guys Bandit as a backup.
At some point it happens even with a trustworthy guitar. If I didn't trust mine I wouldn't have them.

Plus, I like collecting nice guitars.

Its interesting that i don't seem to break strings on my 24.75" scale guitars, but i break them consistently on my 25.5" scale guitars.

I bought my Gibson on November 18, 2021. I played it until February 20th, 2022, then changed to a set of Paradigms just before our February 23, 2022 NASCAR show.

Funny to me im still playing those same Paradigms (10-46) in session this morning, still waiting for them to break!!!!

Since that time, ive broke several sets on the Stratocaster, even Paradigms, but Stringjoy actually examined several sets and we discovered the cause was a combination of my ham-fisted habit of brinneling/hourglassing the string across the Jescar frets and the increased tension of the longer scale caused breaks, and this just doesn't hapoen on the Gibson's.

The 8200 didn't fail during a show, it acted up during a live performance workshop at the music academy where i teach. It did require new transistors and filter caps, which is probably just my foolishness running a 28 year old amp LOL
