I think I need this

LOL Robert, I think Gball has been down there a year or more, I get time messed up now since the Covid lockdown's happened.

BTW, I really am screwed is I want to go see any of our Canadian brothers n sisters in here. They are really spread out, BC, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and likely a few other providences.

Rumor has it that Jethro is from Sask. We might have to see what he has going on.
It’ll be 2 years in SD on Jan 9.
I’m sitting in a bar in La Jolla right now, quaffing a brew and eating some Loco Moco. Mahalo, y’all.

It's a helluva trip from here to.. well, anywhere, sadly!!

With Fender, its the "shell game" that bothers me the most. Things like the Assembled in California shenanigans with the American Flag sticker.

90% of Fender's products are Chinese, a small percentage Mexican, a smaller percentage MIJ and the smallest percentage - about 4% - USA made.

Working for Fender really opened my eyes to their dishonest practices and blatant efforts to conceal the truth.

This stuff is like an infection. It takes a while to get rid of it.

But for many, they've just lowered their standards. Its become acceptable to be a part of this mechanism of dishonesty on a global scale...even to the point of justifying it.

If you've noticed, not only have i been purging gear, I've been specifically purging the foreign gear. The Schecter Hellraiser C1FR and Jackson Adrian Smith were the first to go, and i made only pennies on the dollar because they are foreign builds.

The Origin will be replaced by the hand-made amp from @syscokid. The Origin will likely go to Chuck at Rockstars Academy High Desert.

My speaker cabinet was made by a guy in Baldwin Park, California.

250 watt Celestion Copperback 250's from England

Snake River Audio Cables

For many, this is a non-issue, but its a huge issue for me.

To each their own...
Yeah that would piss me off too. Put a US flag on something made in China.
It really is a shame how that changed. Gibby is expensive, relatively speaking, but such excellent product IMO.
