This is Ride the Lightning.
The lightning bolt effects on this one was a cool surprise.
It still need to go through the glazing process and final polishing.

This sold to Westley all the way out on the west coast. He couldn’t stop raving.
Here is what he had to say.
Comments like this make me feel like my guitar rescue is doing what I set out to do.
Take unloved guitars fix them up and make somebody happy to play them.

The rescue lab slowed down.
But I did find a warlock that needed rescue. It was painted white with what could only be described as Deck paint.

Sanded it down, prepped it and tada.
Now it just needs to dry and it’s clear coat on Monday.

It’s starting to take shape.
Should have this done and set up by tonight.
This one came out really nice. When I got it the paint job was uneven, the nut was only held on by the strings. It had a terrible buzzing and epic feedback because the bridge ground wasn’t attached. The perfect candidate for a guitar rescue. I hope it finds a good home and gets plenty of playtime.

This is a project I am working on.
It’s in the test phase so I’m practicing on scrap wood.
This is called a Lichtenberg effect.
Basically I’m hitting this wood with electricity and burning the pattern directly into the wood.
Next I will paint it and see how it turns out.

Finally painted the Lichtenberg boards.
Tried a dime slime type color and just plain red.
I used left over paint I had on hand.

Next I am going to coat everything. Apply epoxy with some pigment mixed into it. That will fill the lichtenberg marks and a ton of sanding follows.

Let me know what you think.

Man I can feel the anxiety creeping up on me looking at these! I once welded a screwdriver to a light fixture box. Not intentionally.
and i THOUGHT i had taken took every precaution prior.... LOL! Electricity freaks me out man! The invisible killer

Pretty cool, and so scary, in an organic sort of way

Another Rescue.
If Darth Vader played guitar, this is what the Sith Lord would have.
@Headache I can see you rocking this thing. Not that I think you are a Sith Lord, but this thing screams you!

Maybe I am a sith Lord though! I guess my cover is blown now right?

I've always loved BC Rich, and I've always loved different guitars as well. These are all very awesome!

Here is a bass I am refinishing for one of our TTR brothers

So far I hit it with a metallic purple. The light makes it dance between purple and violet.

Tomorrow I shoot it with clear. I’ll get proper pictures done after all that.
Meanwhile here is a video and a couple of pics.
