Down Tuning or Drop Pedal Which is Better?

I forgot what this thread was about initially. The hell with it, anyone else have a spotted lantern fly problem?
No but they're in my state now. The Department of Natural Resources and Department of Agriculture issued a kill on site order for them. Pretty much: stomp them out in place then contact and report it. Nasty things destroy all the deciduous trees and don't have many predators here.

It's no secret at all, that I have a crippling Entomophobia ( fear of insects) and something like that only amplifies it. I've seen photos of people literally walking down the street and carrying dozens of them on their clothing. I'd probably just roll out into oncoming traffic while screaming bloody murder lol

Here is a fun fact
Those things are REALLY quick. To stomp one out you need 3 attempts. They can only hop or fly 2 - 3 times. Then they are exhausted.
Once they figure out they need to do more cardio, we are screwed.

So let’s just say you went to a Halloween party and me and my wife came dressed like a cockroach and a butterfly for example.
Would you stay?

Oh. And let’s say, as a non specific example, everywhere I went in the party. I left some relatives behind.

Would you run and scream like a little girl?

Absolutely not, in fact it'd be an honor to be among you and your infesting brood! Never thought I'd say those words lmao

Whats next, you telling us you are a feminist and really into woman's issues?

Am I getting any closer? ....

I have used the DigiTech drop pedals, the single button pedal as well the one dime used to use, the whammy pedal. Both are fun. Both drop to lower tune no problems.
But I always felt I could hear a digital square bit kind of thing going on with them. It also made me feel like I was just cheating. I sold them both off.
I just keep different guitars in each tuning and that's just what I go with. Certain guitars sound better or worse in a given tuning, so I let the guitars decide
what they like and just string and tune them accordingly.
